It’s no secret that online quizzes have become all the rage, whether you love them, or they fill you with rage. It’s a not-so-secret way for websites to drag you through a meaningless quiz to get you to click on 30 different pages within their site. Whether you want to know “What color Power Ranger are you?” or “Which Saved By The Bell cast member is a perfect match for you?*” All that information is now a click away.
*If you got “Screech,” you might want to think about taking less online quizzes and getting some new hobbies.
Just today I took a quiz on USA Today, yes that USA Today. The intriguing yet asinine question was “What kind of Thanksgiving food are you?” Well shit…how can you not take that quiz? As it turns out, I’m Brussels Sprouts. I’m not sure whether I should take that as a modest compliment or quickly kill myself, but I’m freaking Brussels Sprouts. Nobody gets ready for Thanksgiving dinner saying “Damn…I can’t wait to stuff myself with Brussels Sprouts!”
At SNL, we will gladly hop on bandwagons with no shame. We’ve prepared our own little quiz to get all the kids clicking (not as dirty as that somehow sounded). We’ll even spare you the annoying ads and the 25 different pages you’ll have to click on.
Without further ado, SNL presents the very simple quiz:
What kind of person are you?
Question 1: Do you enjoy taking quizzes like this online?
If you answered no, you’re a liar – you just took one. If you answered yes, the answer to your quiz is “You are lonely.”
We hope you enjoyed our quiz. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to get back to looking at pictures of Grumpy Cat and scanning Buzzfeed to answer the eternal question “What Kind Of Cookie Are You?”
